Refund Policy

Due to the perishable and chain-of-custody-sensitive nature of research compounds, all sales are final once an order is processed. Returns and refunds are only available in the specific circumstances described below. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. All Sales Are Final — General Policy

Because research compounds cannot be restocked or re-certified once they leave our controlled environment, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, accidental purchase, or buyer’s remorse. Once a product leaves our facility, its storage conditions and chain of custody can no longer be verified, making re-entry into inventory impossible. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have verified your order details — including product, quantity, size, and shipping address — before submitting payment.

2. Eligible Refund & Replacement Circumstances

Shyft Labs will issue a full refund or free replacement (buyer’s choice) only in the following circumstances: (1) Damaged in Transit — order arrived with visibly damaged packaging or compromised vials. (2) Wrong Product Shipped — you received a product, lot, or quantity different from what you ordered. (3) Purity Failure — independent third-party HPLC-MS testing by an accredited laboratory confirms the product does not meet the stated purity specification; testing must be conducted within 30 days of receipt and the official lab report must be provided. (4) Order Not Received — Carrier Confirmed Lost — package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier (tracking has not updated for 7+ business days and carrier investigation confirms non-delivery).

3. Ineligible Circumstances — No Refund or Return

The following circumstances do not qualify for a refund, replacement, or return under any condition: change of mind or accidental order after payment is processed; products that have been opened, reconstituted, or altered in any way; products stored improperly after delivery (temperature excursions, moisture exposure, etc.); orders where the buyer provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address; packages confirmed delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout; products purchased on sale, with a discount code, or as part of a bundle (unless demonstrably defective); delays caused by carrier, customs, or circumstances beyond our control; orders where the buyer fails to meet eligibility requirements under our Terms of Service; purity claims not supported by third-party accredited laboratory documentation.

4. How to Submit a Claim

To submit a refund or replacement claim you must contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery for damage or wrong product claims, and within 30 days of receipt for purity-related claims. Claims submitted outside these windows will not be accepted. Email info@shyftlabs.bio with all of the following: your order number; the lot ID printed on the vial label; a clear description of the issue; photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and product label (required for damage or wrong product claims); official third-party lab report (required for purity claims). Incomplete claims will not be processed. We will respond within 2 business days of receiving a complete submission.

5. Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Shyft Labs before any product is returned. Do not ship any product back to us without first receiving an RMA number — unauthorized returns will be refused at the facility and returned to sender at the buyer’s expense. If a return is authorized, Shyft Labs will provide a prepaid return label at our discretion for cases where the error originated on our side. For all other eligible returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Products must be returned in original, unopened condition using a trackable shipping method.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval (for pre-shipment cancellations) or within 5–10 business days of receipt and inspection of an authorized return. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error originated with Shyft Labs. Replacement orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days of claim approval, subject to product availability. We do not offer exchanges.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed for shipment. To request a cancellation, email info@shyftlabs.bio immediately with your order number. Once an order has entered the fulfillment or shipping process it cannot be cancelled. Pre-shipment cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Chargebacks & Fraudulent Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute in violation of this policy constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service. In response to any chargeback, Shyft Labs will submit complete documentation to the payment processor — including order confirmation, shipping records, tracking proof of delivery, product photographs, and a copy of this policy — to contest the claim. Buyers who initiate fraudulent chargebacks will have their account permanently suspended and will be refused future sales. Shyft Labs reserves the right to pursue recovery of disputed amounts and associated fees through available legal remedies.
